This is for RDC league play only, RDC does not cover skaters to play in the USA on USA teams or in USA leagues. If you have a skater joining your league from another country RDC cannot cover them under the RDC accident insurance policy.
RDC cannot stress enough that ALL skaters that do not have additional insurance above their provincial health care, especially skaters that travel to the USA or extensively through Canada, protect themselves by purchasing a plan that will cover all expenses in the event they are ever hurt. Our accident insurance is a very limited plan that meets the requirements of WFTDA and USARS.
Dehoney Financial Group have options available to you that can provide travel coverage and make sure the coverage you currently have includes roller derby. Please visit their website for more information.
